Access, the owners of Garnet VM, ported it themselves. They did it for previous Maemo tablets as well.

Hi mece, thanks for creating this thread so potential N9 users get better knowledge of what to expect.

Could you add my app, Stockona, to the list? I plan to port it to Harmattan.

Random list from memory (it's been a while):
  • notmynokia
  • cpumem-applet
  • cell-modem-ui
  • vim
  • openntpd

I almost said mutt, then realised it'd be unusable without a physical keyboard :-(

I'm new to this whole Maemo thing, but very interested in the N9. Is there any kind of app to watch security cameras @ your home on your device ? Not sure if there is such an app for the N900 or not. That would be sweet....

i think this ones are not allready listed and i use them a lot, would love to see them on the n9
leafpad (nice, easy and fast text editor)
woller ( or any other wake on lan app, they are almost all the same)
wizard mounter ( let you mont hard drives from any windows pc on the lan on the n900)
presence vnc ( or any similar program, there are a few available)
webos games (to play webos games)
mussorgsky (edit mp3 metadata, with 64gb there will probably be need for this to arrange the music library properly, nokia usually do a bad job or none for the metadata edit)
someplayer (for music the best actually on n900, in any case till theres more testin on the n9 we wont know the need for a 3rd party program, we dont even know if the music player has equalizer or not yet!)
filebox ( my prefered file manager, but as the previous one we dont know exactly how the n9 file manager work so no need for now)

-3G/2G mode select applet
-grr or Greader
-Flashlight
-FCam and Bless900
-Recaller
-Frontview
-Fbreader
-AlmostTI85
-Dialcentral
