It's not a bad idea. I mean does this application have any other uses than helping with Bluetooth stuttering? I can't imagine anyone using it for anything else.

People voice your opinion on this. Would automatically turning bluetooth on and off be preferrable? Although there is the question about the Bluetooth mode to turn it into. There's 3 modes possible: Off, on, and "on and visible". That's a bit of a bugger actually and would require IMO that this was a setting. Gets a bit to the "is this too much work" territory.

Anyway... I'm interested in people's opinions. But after that bit of wondering, I'm thinking proper user friendly support would be quite a bit more work. I have to add that it's relatively easy to hack this kind of thing into the existing files, assuming you'd call the existing ToggleBluetooth application in same script with ToggleWlanScan.

I couldn't resist checking how easy it would be to create a new icon that runs both Toggle BT and ToggleWlanScan.

So to have both toggled with one toggle:

1) Install Toggle BT from Nokia Store
2) Install ToggleWlanScan
3) Download the attachment here, and unzip it. Open terminal, and in devel-su copy the .desktop file to /usr/share/applications

There you have it.

thanks ajalkane for this, I would personally prefer to have everything under profilematic
because i want more actions than only wifi scanning off/on. Like PSM off/on, changing the profile too...

@justadude that's a clever idea.. now it becomes even simpler to use!

@ajalkane thanks for making the ideas a reality =)

Let the non-stuttering streaming begin!

Yes I agree it would be nicer. And I intend to bring Bluetooth pairing condition to next version. Will see how that goes, but if I've understood correctly then it'd be possible to create these kind of rules.

That's my intention here. I have already the bluetooth toggle and it follows the same set of rules I have set in the regular settings folder for BT. I only set to BT scan when I want to pair new and that is done in settings as well. Its so far worked like a charm auto pairing with my car after turning toggle on and NFC pairing with my Wireless music receiver as well as the 360 speakers. I'm sure it would work like a charm with the suggested toggle By the way, thanks for doing this for me and everyone else. I honestly don't understand the big problem for Nokia making this an option with the OEM software. You are indeed a good chap! I will be taking a look at Profilematic to see what it has to offer soon. I just wanted something a little simpler. Again thank you!

Works like it should, but note to anyone who uses NFC to use toggle to activate before tapping to sync with NFC. Only takes a second! Plus, there is no Icon just a green one but I'm sure that was intended. Cheers!

Yes, it's intended as my skills and energy did not extend to drawing an icon for it. But if you look at the desktop file it should be obvious where to put an icon.
