So far, I'm only like 2 hours into their SDK, but yep.

@gerbick does the SDK gives indication for supporting 720p(& beyond) screen resolutions..

and whats gonna be the app extension for Tizen i mean .deb, rmp what ?

Hopefully rpm. And I also think it will be because Linux Foundation is in charge.

rpm has differential packages (.drpm) which leads to savings in data transfers both for end users and operators.

Also rpm has transactions support, so if device looses battery power between installing packages, the device can itself backroll after reboot. (in fact, if battery power is lost in middle of transaction, nothing needs to be backrolled, only transaction continued and finished or transaction cancelled)

Additionally, if Tizen would want to use SELinux to make devices even more secure, rpm-systems has well built and tested support for SELinux.

And rpm packages have GPG-signatures embedded, so we won't have security vulnerabilities like in talk.maemo.org we see often: there is a MITM attack possible every time someone does wget+dpks_-i.

So far, all indications point to deb. I'm still waiting on the Mac install for this - might have to update my Ubuntu install and try it there.

that's mean application from tizen could be ported to n9?

doesn't it indicate Tizen has more Similarity to N900 then N9..
