Rawcam works as intended for nokia N9 as far as I know. There are no reported bugs until now and I think that beta5 should be considered stable. One or two minor new features may be added, but essentially this is the finished product.

The goals of rawcam are a little bit different, but even if I wanted to go that way, fcam drivers don't support video so half of the functionality will be missing.
Think of rawcam as a high end dslr camera vs a point-and-shoot. Scenes and presets are completely missing on the dslr which has a somewhat steeper learning curve, but all controls can be made manual on-demand, and everything is as few clicks away as possible even if that means control-clutter. Stock camera is the p&s and it's very good at it. Rawcam aims to be the DSLR.

idk bro, rawcam is not for quick shots, that's problem with "face detection" or with things like that
maybe resolution choice would be useful (but i don't see how)
raw cam is jut to take shot and you'll do rest at home on pc not on phone...though :P
it would be nice to see this working on n950 too, really
