I would not be 100% sure on this. In the confirmation mail, they assign a number to you. So I guess they can track down the actually first one.
Edit: They might have a bit different info in the invitation vs. the confirmation mail?

But to give one option: Of course the checking of pre-order number would have to be done between all those who arrive before 18:00

Believe me, it will be a 'chaotic' day.
I'm pretty sure they wont even look at the numbers... Better yet, I'm also sure that even if you didn't pre-ordered it, you could still buy the device by waiting in the line

Guess what happened....
and at the end of the day, people started to fight.... and police had to come in action
(damn, think about it that you actually need to go to the store that is next to Vodafone store....)

Quite happy that Free (it's a name) came in the market of providers and caused a big earthquake in the pricing of mobile contracts...
Before that, subscriptions were ridiculously expensive. :/
