There is bound to be a seller at some point that is going to ship it to europe for a reasonable price.

I quickly checked for parcel forwarding service from India. http://www.indianmailbox.com has a shipping rate calculator. For Italy a parcel with 0.5 kg would be around 55$ (as far as I get it setup fees for the adress are zero if you cancel the address within a month). So delivery to Italy would be around

75€ for the phone
50€ for shipping
28€ for VAT
16€ Duty and Tax Forwarding Charge (UPS Italy)
----
169€ Total

Even if 169€ seems reasonable for me (the price is the same as for the Jolla C, sorry, community program) it seems risky to me and some questions remain (eg.: are international credit cards accepted on ebay.in, ...)

I will wait for sellers with decent price and good seller raiting who deliver to the EU directly!

Both offers are from the same seller. He just seems to dislike the US, his offer in USD is around 20% more expensive than the one in GBP .
Anyway:
The price (more than double excluding shipping and VAT) plus the limited seller reputation (only three feedbacks on ebay) plus my assumption that the seller does not have any devices yet (description: Will be shipped in 6 to 12 days) doesn't make the offers very attractive

Not even. He sends with Standard Int'l Shipping which means the public post. So the price is too lower. http://www.indiapost.gov.in. And no taxes customs etc

Hello gerstavros,
Sorry for the confusion: The 169€ would be the price if I (or anybody else in the EU) orders it from ebay India and uses parcel forwarding service.
You are right: For Indian based sellers the calculation is different: They buy the phone somewhere in India and resell it on ebay international with a HUGE profit margin. Seems a quite easy way to earn some money, so I guess more offers on ebay will appear in the near future.

...and then there's Comic Sans.

Never buy anything from anyone using Comic Sans.
