Anyone knows if there's a way to simulate a right-click in turbo easy debian? I'm trying to use lmms and I need to right-click to show the contextual menu.

Thank you!

pinguino89: The icons are harmless, and they really aren't meant to be removed. But they can be removed by deleting the corresponding .desktop files, as root, from the /usr/share/applications/hildon directory.

mordark: right click can be simulated by a tap-and-hold in GTK apps. It doesn't appear that lmms is such an app, so I don't know what you can do.

After understanding how the "set debian hw keys" script works, I've edited the /home/user/.xbindkeysrc.scm file to add these lines :
; Fullscreen key (Left)
(xbindkey-function 'Left
(lambda ()
(run-command "xmodmap -e 'pointer = 1 2 3'")
(reset-first-binding)))
; Fullscreen key (Right)
(xbindkey-function 'Right
(lambda ()
(run-command "xmodmap -e 'pointer = 3 2 1'")
(reset-first-binding)))

Now I can toggle right-click and left-click with minus+right and minus+left

I'm happy to contribute, turbo easy debian is just so useful!
It turns the tablet into a complete pocket PC.

I have easy-chroot in Fremantle Extras-Devel, but I'm not sure where to go from here. The size of the N900's screen and the messy implementation of standard GTK+ widgets in the Fremantle UI is not really suitable for desktop apps.

I'm thinking that the best bet is to make a Xephyr nested XServer in a Fremantle window (a fullscreen window that has an app switcher button in the top left corner) and then run a chunky, finger-friendly version of a desktop GTK window manager...

I'd love some help. At the very least, I need someone to make me a fullscreen Fremantle window with the switcher icon in the corner.

Yes, I saw that too. It appears that their server crashed and my web page got wiped out...

I've got an open support ticket. All we can do is wait.
