Mga kababayan!
I just got my N900 on Monday, after using a N95 since 2007. Loving the way it's better (in every way).

Also, I don't think the N900 is sold locked, except in Europe.

P.S.: Has anyone overclocked the N900 to 1GHz in the 30C+ Manila heat?

Hi Friend,

There is a tutorial for installing NITDroid (Android ported to N900) to the eMMC of the Nokia N900. eMMC is the 32GB Internal Memory Card. Here's the link: http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=66459

Although this link talks about the full NITDroid tutorial, at the bottom part of the tutorial there are some links to download customized eMMC images that you can use to flash your phone. These eMMC images are customized only to give you either:

1. a 5GB "home" partition and a 27GB "MyDocs" partition, or
2. an 8GB "home" partition and a 21GB "MyDocs" partition.

Just download any of them, and then use them instead of the default "Vanilla eMMC" image when you flash your Nokia N900.

There are other manual methods of partitioning the eMMC but I thought of sharing this to you instead for convenience.

Hope this helps.

Nope, I don't want to risk it yet.

Hi Friend,

Nope, just download only the customized eMMC images and then flash your phone using that instead of the original Vanilla eMMC. You don't need to follow the instructions on the link I gave you. Only follow the instructions if you want to dual-boot your phone (Maemo and NITDroid).

There's a "backup" tool for the N900. Or you may use Ovi Suite.
