The guy at the store I went had a 'few' in the back, but couldn't even show it to customers, and it was beta software, as well.

Maybe some of those were sold in other stores...

One thing i was told was the software was not yet ready and ALL N9's in the hands of Nokia staff are demo's only untill the update comes out later this week.

NOBODY outside of Nokia staff has in there posession an N9 anywhere in this world right now unless they have loaned one to a friend without the knowledge of a manager.

I obviously know something nobody else does on this community but i am certain no one has got an N9 outside of Nokia staff.

I took one out of the box unopened by any staff and when i turned it on the first thing that comes on screen is the prompt for a software update.

The 2 people on TMO have obviously got demo versions on loan from someone working for Nokia OR they are Nokia staff.

First shipment for Telenor was certainly very small. Not exactly surprising as i was amazed at the first place that these places got N9 so early compared to rest.

Around 3 weeks till Nokia announces it's Windows Phone(s)....

Honestly i don't believe anybody inside Nokia wants N9 to fail. N9 just isn't a long term device, OS to them and their priorities are totally somewhere else than on N9.

Well thats true. Im just saying that its shipped. Could be that they get a package with a picture of Elop flipping them the bird with the Windows song playing in repeat, like a holiday giftcard from hell.

However, it seems very unlikely that they wont get their devices.

The shipment was either very small or they had a huge number of preorders.

Telenor is really pushing the N9 online and in their stores, though.

Do you work for Nokia or know someone who does??? because what you have just said has a LOT of truth to it.

IF you do then own up please?.

Telefast did also ship many of the N9s to stores. Should be in stores from Monday/Tuesday.
Confirmed by guy working at Telefast.
