There was 2-3 Norwegians unboxing N9 on youtube that day. Again the amount they sold probably wasn't too many, but they sold some.

Interesting to note that last night (prime time TV time), Nokia were running TV adverts for the Nokia N9 here in Aus.
Ads were placed during first episode of a new series, which was expected to rate highly, so would have cost them a bundle for the air time.
I highly doubt that they would invest in TV advertising like this if they only had a few thousand units to sell.
Nokia have only ever pushed their flagship devices via TV advertising in Australia, so it says alot for what they're hoping to achieve with it.
Perhaps Nokia are hedging their bets with WP after all?

I'm going to be in Tucson, AZ towards the end of the month. Does anyone know if the N9 will be available anywhere in Nogales, Mexico. If so, I could possibly run down there and pick up a couple for people here in the US. No promises. If I have a chance to run down there all depends on how the jobs in Tucson go.

Nokia could very well be playing this one out in a smart way because everything is right for a PROPER flagship portayal as the N9 has been designed specifically for production speed as the board layout is a LOT simpler than the N900 for example.

It could very well turn out to be massive depending on sales feedback of the units they have produced.

The advertising campaign behind this device is certainly bigger than it was for the N900.

They were bitten hard by Maemo because of lack of Maemo development not because of the hardware itself so it COULD be a case of let's wait and see where the software goes and following sales before they actually allow this to be a worldwide seller.

Just my thoughts on this because of the pure size of the campaign going on right now from Nokia especially in the Asian sectors.

Correction. N8 comes with 16GB built-in and has support for MicroSD card as well.
I wish N9 has the same. Ah well, I'll just get the 64GB model and be happy with that.

My theory is, the Nokia N9 is going to be pushed hard in countries that are not slated to get WP Nokia handsets until well into 2012.

The US and the UK will get the lions share of the first WP units off the production line, and Australia / Asia will have to wait

It shouldn't matter much. Depends on the software, they're both based on armv7 architecture. WP7 is optimised to the next with Qualcomm though.

Default Re: Mail for Exchange problem N950
I just my N9 (released yesterday in Denmark) and I have the same problems with Mail for Exchange. I set it up on my N9 the same way as I did on my N900 and it will not connect. I'm using Exchange server 2010 by the way.
