I will write guide for this later

No need for that. Just download the font and save it to your device under /home/user/.fonts/

I have written more detailed instructions earlier this thread, just search using that path above.

Thanks.

While I search for that, couple of questions :

The link goes to what appears to be a single .ttf file. Does installing that allow one to use / display font variants on the device like bold, italic ?

Once installed via instructions as above, will the font appear in theme option setup for Black Plastic ?

ta

*goes off to search thread...*

Move your *.ttf to /home/user/MyDocs

then type in xterm

sudo gainroot
cp -rf /home/user/MyDocs/*.ttf /home/user/.fonts/

If the folder .fonts is not created use those lines to do it

sudo gainroot
mkdir ~/.fonts

Regarding your question! No is a single font file not bold or italic.
Hope I was helpfull!

Yeah, that single .ttf most likely includes bold and italics (or then not), but as soon as you have copied the ttf-file in the directory mentioned before the font will be available @ Plastic Theme Setup.

I seem to have come late to the font-changing party, but hey, it worked !

Thanks for the excellent instructions D-Iivil and puiradu

*edit - presumably if I keep searching this thread I'll find the answer to why changing system font doesn't change rendering on web pages *
