As far as I know its just AV out through the jack plug, and ofc the usb cable into a TV, much like any memory stick, which some TVs can play. Which would be whatever quality the video file is in.

Also; DLNA support through an app, its not finished yet tho.

Niels Kjelstrup: Its on the way, but not entirely finished yet

in the past, I used the same way for calendar items and contacts.. In preparation for my N9, I changed everything to my online hotmail account.. This is way better then built-in agenda of outlook.. For pc and phone, you can set it up like an MfE account. You always have all your contacts (just login on your online account on every computer to see calendar and contacts), it can be synced as you wish, so every pc/phone has automaticly the same info..

I suggest you use a gmail or hotmail or whatever account and do the same

this nokia link business isn't required is it?

i value the fact that my n900 is not restricted in its ability to transfer files by the absence of installed nokia software.

I've made all my listening tests and am doing my writeup at the moment. I'm doing it as a review of all three phones' music capabilities, to make it more universal, and to point out my views. If you have any further subjects i should include, just name them!

I'll also do a little review of my first 4 days of nokia N9 to give my first impressions

Yes, I know about that possibility. But I was talking about my company's calendar. If I would sync that to Gmail or somewhere else, I would most likely get kicked out of company due security policy violation...

MfE is an option, but it has internal costs in our company (=hard to get approved nowadays). Plus I only need to sync calendar, I don't want to pollute my own phone with work mails.

Don't see the cost actually.. when you make it possible for 1user, everyone can use it on the same principle.
Btw, you can choose to only sync your calendar or only contacts or only mails or any combination you want
No fear that you will have to work day and night
