for non permanent application
for permanent change, put in a startup script in /etc/event.d/Code:sysctl -w vm.vfs_cache_pressure=10
for more info on startup script... http://wiki.maemo.org/Startup_scriptCode:echo 10 > /proc/sys/vfs_cache_pressure
