Question to you - o priviliged one- how is "Share pictures online"?
The out of the box experience of N900 was the greatest to date for Flickr users. Select multiple pictures and batch upload to Flickr.
Surprisingly the camera phone of the past year N8 missed the good old Symbian "share online" had to do it with unpractical and insecure third party software. Today one still has to use pixelpipe
Harmattan based, N9 does equal or better than N900 I hope?
Also, did you test the Skype "video" already ?

takes a big person to admit fault. respect given for that.
i know how you feel, ireland is a massive question mark on when it's available or how it will be available. my clever plan is to get gs II sim free from my operator as an upgrade they keep hassling me to take. then sell it straight off the bat. use that money for the n9 when its out and i can afford it.

from what i recall there is no video calling on skype for the N9 yet. probably a similar case to when the N900 first came out. there's videos floating about and reviews of the photo sharing, from what i've seen it's as awesome as the n900 for that. in work now and lazy so can't paste any links.
from everything i've read it seems the n9 has features not finished or enabled but can, so i would expect added functionality with the future updates.

over here our contracts are hardware contracts so unless i upgrade i'm on a rolling 30day contract because mine ended about a year and a half ago. i can change my plan every 30 days if i like, i've used my "quiting the network" to get good deals with my bill pay plan, like money off my monthly bills
don't vodafone derp the phone with their own firmware? so even if it's simfree your still stuck with their custom version?

CAN ONE OF YOU GUYS WALK INTO A STORE AND BUY 5 OR TEN OF THEM AND THEN SELL THEM TO US HERE?!

Vodafone had no custom version on the N900 (though i re-flashed from the UK to Global). However on the N97 they did have some rubbish.
I plan on getting the N9 sim free and then getting a sim only contract with either vodafone (as i get corp discount) or with 3 - who do unlimited data for £25 a month on a rolling contract (which you said you have).
I am not sure if it covers Ireland but if you're interested in joining voda let me know and i'll check.

Iv been moddin my symbian since half a decade,i like to customize n utilize my fone to the limit..i cudn do tat wif an iphone,cud i,period..which is y i hated them from ground up!
