And luckily they have no idea what my phone is so they activated my unlimited data plan for only $10 a month but with this new firmware update somehow they detect my phone as a smart phone and wont let me use the data plan. I have no problem connecting its just that I cant do anything with it after I connect. since you guys here always have the answer to everything about this phone I was just wondering if anybody know a way around. if not then I guess I wont be able to update firmware ever again. Cause I dont want to pay $40 a month for internet instead of $10. And in case you guys r wondering how I called T-mobile and they still dont know I have a smart phone is cause they still dont know what a n900 is lol
are you sure you are using the epc.tmobile.com access point? I am still on the 5.99 tzones and it works great.

Yeah but I'm already on the smartphone data plan so I don't have to deal with things like this. Previous post says his tzones account is still working so you probably have to change your apn.

can anyone confirm this?? what does it do??

edit: btw i dont have a sim card right now, i am wondering if its the application "disable cellular"..... -
It puts the tablet in phone or tablet mode, of course!

Maybe that means horizontal or vertical?

It would be cool if you could specify settings or apps open when switching modes.
