Hello, just wondering, how usable is NITDroid (performance wise)? Is it smooth like native Android phones? Or is it slow and laggy? Laggier than Maemo? Faster than Maemo?

it's usable but the phone isn't functioning so you can't make calls
but it's fast and very good

That really depends on the SD card you use. Class 4 cards seem to lag some but with my Class 6 card NITDROID runs faster then my Backflip does.

dpkg -i /home/user/MyDocs/nitdroid-kernel-2.6.28-05_final1_armel.deb
im on the step of installing nitdroid kernel, but i get this error

Code:
dpkg: unable to open/create status database lockfile: No space left on device
i dont know what i did wrong, i partitioned to 8gb (6100/1900)

please advice, thanks

EDIT: i have 0MB of root!!!! i just got 70MB before i start!!!!

Also when you install it give it some time to perform internal optimalization. After few hours of idle time my Android was actually working very smooth (no OC)

Space left on your rootfs and eMMC 32GB ?

you should reflash your mobile as there is no space left in rootfs
i got this message when i installed meego and when i reflashed it works good

i got lots!!!! but when i delete the /and folder (where nitdroid is installed) my root is back to normal.

thanks guys, i need apps installed on my n900 and increasing rootfs is uninstalling some of 'em, maybe i'll get another n900 and do the multi boot there
