It wipes out your memory card and fills your flash memory with bad sectors so that it won't be usable anymore...
Seriously, you don't check this kind on information BEFORE updating ? if not, then you should check the first post of this thread as Freemangordon said in his announcement post.

My personal preference is to disable automatic updates on Windows, Linux, Sony TV.... just so that you can see what's included. This one changes sqlite, used for storing address book or sms (can't recall at the mo) so you should definately be backing up first.

sqlite3 is used to store messages (sms,im,...) not for contacts.

Is this the newer sqlite version from marmistrz?
Or just the the "default" thumb and just thumb compiled?

Anyway didn't used his version but there were reports of that version being faster but I don't know if that was a placebo, these testers experienced.

Didn't update to latest thumb either...
Thanks anyway, the more thumb compiled the better it is

The stock version, just thumb-compiled. No matter "experimental" statement in the first post, usually I am reasonable guy and wouldn't risk cssu-thumb's users(more than 400 if merlin1991's stats are real) messaging DB too much .
