that's true.
Evolution Data Server is used for contacts, calendar and tasks.
Backend is EBookBackendFile.
The file backend uses libdb (addressbook.db) to store the contacts. While storing the contacts, the ID of the contact is used as key and the vcard string of the contact is used as the value.
about marmistrz's version of sqlite3:
using for a month or two with thumb (so had no thumb compiled sqlite3), no problems so far, seems to be faster in selects (e.g. loading contacts (perhaps, accounts related), messages).

(AFAIK)Contacts uses Berkeley DB, which I plan for the next update, along with EDS and pulseaudio. But that won't happen until next week, I want to give the current version (of cssu-thumb) some time to prove it is stable.

about marmistrz's version of sqlite3:
It will come in cssu-thumb after (and if) it is included in CSSU-testing. Not that I am saying it is unstable, just don't see the rationale in putting it in cssu-thumb. The other option would be if someone make benchmarks and compare sqllite3 in cssu-thumb vs marmistrz's sqllite3 (compiled with the same toolchain as the other stuff in cssu-thumb, so there will be common ground) and the latter is faster.

I got this error when running the cssu update script:
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
E: Version '21.2011.38-1Tmaemo5.1+thumb0' for 'mp-fremantle-community-pr' was not found

Should I edit the cssu-thumb-21.2011.38-1Tmaemo5.1\+thumb0.sh script and change this :
"apt-get install mp-fremantle-community-pr=21.2011.38-1Tmaemo5.1+thumb0"
to
"apt-get install mp-fremantle-community-pr=21.2011.38-1Tmaemo5.1+thumb3"
?

Just a note of experience from a completely clean installation.

I updated directly from PR1.3.1 to cssu-thumb, and found hildon-desktop did not implement the advanced settings found in transitions.ini. To remedy this I had to downgrade to hildon-desktop_2.2.142-21_armel.deb as found in the cssu-testing repo, check that it was behaving as expected with blurless and two-column implemented, then apt-get upgrade hildon-desktop to return to version used by cssu-thumb with advanced settings implemented.

Other than that, no problems.

AIUI that could happen if you have modified your transitions.ini. Though I agree if one wants some feedback from HAM.

I know this question has already been asked but I can't find any answer: is there a way to reinstall the default camera-ui without otherwise affecting the cssu-thumb installation?
