You don't need the 3.50 spoof to play GT5 or NFS-HP, just the regular psfreedom payload. Get the respective eboot.bin's from HERE (decrypted) and overwrite the ones in PS3_GAME/USRDIR folder.

And if you read what you linked here, it says:
"Gran Turismo 5 ver1.00
PAYLOAD: some user here report to me that GT5 works better with PL3 3.55 than it does with V4B 3.55"
In my case,
NFS:HP has a eboot.bin for 3.41 and thus works without spoofing.
However, GT5 asks for a system update and exits if you decline.
So we need 3.50 spoofing.
Probably it's enough to just download this unpack and replace the files in /opt/psfreedom/payloads/ on your N900
Could someone try that out? Busy with NFS right now.
In psfreedom 0.6 use the hermes payload. I'm using multiMAN and haven't tried other backup managers but I think it doesn't matter what backup manager you are using.
