I wonder if someone fairly knowledgeable at these resellers we are using or their supplier re-flashes branded phones with vanilla software. My phone from Welectronics didnt come with anything but a single wallpaper and the box was not sealed. Other than that it was mint and included everything.

Just wondering... what ownership and permissions does that file have? I've tried doing that but strangely the terminal still doesn't show up. Also, a cat of the file might be useful...

my twitter app doesnt work anymore. it was fine till about 5days ago. when i open the app it asks me to sign in, i click it and nothing happends. odd thing is that iv already set it up in my accounts
the Feeds screen actually still shows my twitter feeds... i just cant get to it through the app

so i read somewhere the other day that someone just removed their twitter account and set it up again...
so i tried this, and the app now says 'cant connect to twitter'.. and now i dont have twitter going on my Feeds anymore as iv removed it from my accounts...
whats annoying me now is that, okay fine i can use twimgo as the app.. but i still want to see tweets in my News Feed on the homescreen, but i cant get it working anymore as i now cant even save the account due to it not connecting..

help?

Hey, does anyone know if it's possible to disable the autolock once MFE has enabled it? I thought this was fixed in 1.1

After updating to PR1.1 meego-terminal.desktop doesn't even appear in /usr/share/applications anymore. Does developer mode need to be enabled before we can copy it over or is the file stashed away in some random spot in the filesystem?

go to account>mail for exchange>connection settings, and tick the option non provisional device, then go to settings, security, disable the devicd lock option.

Issue here and need some guidance.

My battery was running low so i decided to switch off the 3g connection - I saw a message saying that auto connection to the internet is being disabled and i thought fine. Since then I have noticed that whenever I leave a wifi connected area the 3g is not connected to automatically. I have to manually go to the internet connections and hit my 3g.

Settings>Internet Connection
show
Internet connection = on
Allowbackground conenction = on

Update: ok as i was typing this i discovered that to fix the above problem you need to "edit networks" and find the 3g connection and turn that back on to "use automatically". Hope that helps somebody.

iv heard it uses up more battery life..
