hmmm.
If you have the old PS pad, I know there's usb adaptors to use the original.

I have something like this USB Twin JoyPad Game Pad:
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/USB-Twin-...item2565f1db74

So, Kernel power + H-E-N gives you usb support.
get a OTG Cable Micro 5pin USB male to USB female.
Plug the controller into the OTG, plug the OTG into the N900 and fingers crossed.

I'm not sure if it will work (waiting for the OTG) but i'm trying to do this... if it doesn't then I guess the kernel/modules/HEN does not support it.

I'll keep you posted when the I try it.

EDIT

I just need to run this executable, run the PSX4All, and my N900 turns into real game console with real game controller instead of using small embedded keyboard.
Probably not the right thread for this?

You don't need a OTG specific 5 pin cable; any micro USB - female USB cable will work.

I'm not sure about plugging in USB PS pads and getting them to work, but I've had SNES USB pads working via h-e-n (Teensy PCBs).

I've managed to successfully get my PS3 controller to connect to my Nokia N900 with the SIXAXIS(TM) Support but only the right trigger (Registers as 'R') and Playstation button (Registers as 'D') actually register and work on my N900. What do? I noticed in Mupen64 the left analog stick works but besides the PS button and the right trigger nothing else woks.

hi all,

I'm facing the same issue as smoke101 : controller don't pair, the bt icon turn blue for a moment and back to grey when the led's stop flashing and bt icon turn back to grey.

I followed the troubleshooting section and i noticed some little differencies.
Code:
/home/user # lsmod | grep joy
joydev 10368 0
even after "man lsmod" I don't now what means the "0" (it's "1" in the troubleshooting exemple).
assuming it means that the module is not loaded I tried
Code:
insmod joydev
but I do not know the path to the module. someone can tell me ?

there also could be a problem with the xserver-xorg-input-joystick.
Code:
/home/user # dpkg -l *joystick*
(...)
ii xserver-xorg-input 1:1.5.0-1maemo2 X.Org X server -- joystick input driver
it seems that a part or a package is missing comparing to the troubleshooting section.
how is it for the people that successfully paired ?

except that I don't see what could be wrong. I have flashed the device just in case of package conflict but it solved nothing.

sixaxis support and sixad are installed on the device.

I used sixpair to set the master bt adress on my controller.

any clue or idea ?

thx for paying attention to this post.
