I stopped using the N900 as my main phone 3 years ago when I switched carriers here in Australia (switched back to Telstra). Unfortunately the N900 didn't support 3G 850Mhz so I bought a Nokia N8. Had that a while then upgraded to the 808 Pureview (current main phone). Totally addicted to the amazing camera on it.

Unfortunately things like the poor browser really make things difficult on the 808, so for this reason (and many others) I still use my N900 as a portable data only device (using mobile broadband sim in it).

I wanted to start using my N9 as my main phone for a while but it recently died on me (completely dead, tried flashing, battery replacement etc no luck). Thinking my next device could be the Blackberry Z30 for something a bit different.

Well the end of an era has arrived. I have bought a new Sony Xperia Z2 and have officially retired my Nokia N900.

I use since more than a year an Samsung S3, love the possibility to connect a USB keyboard/mouse while having it connected to a HDMI/DVI screen.

I miss the HW keyboard and camera slider from the N900 though

I moved to the Blackberry Z10 about a month ago. There was a nice promo from Blackberry

The Z10 has a really good touch keyboard. Much much better than N9, 808, iPhone and Android which I have or tried. Though I still prefer hw keyboard

By the way, I am willing to swap for a Jolla if anybody is interested.

I have been using a white N9 for a year. Lost my N900 recently, so went ahead and bought a Moto X and a Xperia Z Ultra (the latter as a portable tablet with phone function, I.e. phablet). I am keeping N9 for its great offline navigation and the 64gb storage. My main reason for Android devices is the Opera Labs 12 with translation extensions that I use for reading foreign language stuff.

Moved to a Motorola Droid 4.
Flashed it to use CyanogenMod 11.
Installed a GSM patch.
Installed Debian Kit, upgraded its Debian to Debian Wheezy.
Installed SystemScriptExecutor (executes scripts at init & shutdown).
Configured it to mount & unmount Debian at init & shutdown correspondingly, & added quite a few tweaks as well.
I've got many things the N900 used to provide except for ability to launch GUI apps from command line.
But otherwise, works great so far. The more powerful hardware definitely helps lots. No more issue with operator network's fast dormancy configuration too.
