N800, 43-7, 0.7.0-4
Installed TheOneRing on my N800, both calls and texting appear to work. Contacts get imported. However, many of the contacts have several numbers and only the name shows, difficult to know which number I want to use.
Unsure which rtcomm I'm using. Don't see it in app manager or listed via dpkg -l.??????

Epage I did a little messing with it. I was able to send a text message but it was after some manovering. I would go to the contacts list, disconnect TRO click on the contact and chat was enabled. After I was in the chat screen, My email address showed on the left and the persons name showed under neath it. I then connected back to TRO. The email address then switched to my gizmo number. I switched back to the contacts list, they all had green near their names now. I clicked and the chat was gray again. Switched back to the message waiting and was able to send it.
@epage
I'll mostly be using my N900, so I'm not too worried about the N800 contact names. The 800 was just sitting around, so I thought I'd throw onering on it (no harm if I crashed it). So, I don't think I'll file any bugs/enhancements for it. At best it'll be a backup. I'm getting used to having a keyboard Just wanted to let you know it worked.
lemmy i put photos on the main contact numbers for each contact to differenciate them. you can do a pic of house, cell, ect if that helps i dont mind igt
