You can assume it a given...
that if it is rt fx processing ...
I'll be one of the 1st to play with it....
I have a beater n900 to test with...
throw it at me Kot.
I was wondering about calf ...
but I thought it beyond our luverly old n900's...
if it will work...
well...

guitar, i'll make, maemo 5, real-time-fx, rt-fx-processor, the popcorn |
|
which works.
after alot of mangling to get it to run on antix and a few other distros...
after alot of work and alot of help from android808 and kot...
both of whom were far more brilliant than I could have been and who achieved ultimate-gtkgep-on-n900/n8x0-uber-mangling...
If anything works next...
I'd be betting on jackd being at the root of it....
since we have it..(weird eh?)
Next I could see would be Jesusonic (which is as freakin' awesome as it's name...works on windows, works on x86 linux...I use it...I don't see why a port of it wouldn't happen..)
kotzarny has been messing with sox in his ocmp prog...so I don't see why an app couldn't be wrapped around sox for real-time fx.
Lotta potential here...
me at this point ...
I'm currently playin' messin' with gtkgep on my nxx0's...
hmm..
also...
when android808 finishes with gtk puttering..
it may be likely a better version of gtkgep will come out of it..
perhaps NEW presets too may be a possibility consequently ...
I would love rakarrack full screen on our devices...
there is rak for arm under squeeze, wheezy and i'm sure jessie as well...so easy deb to the rescue?
be great to have exef too...
be great to have creox, and ecamegapedal too...
be great to have them all...
takes porting and testing...
the ultimate would be a very flexible prog...
that is simple ...
visually elegant...
with a finger friendly interface...
that doesn't waste screen space...
nor is too tight and small to see and use...
that has multiple on screen racks or cabinets or whatever people wish to call them (here is where the setup of rak is perfect....just too many cabinets statically showing all at once on screen makes for a very small tight space of interaction for our devices...
perhaps scrolling screen via sumthin qt-like...super slick....so could shuffle between a screen that has 2-3or 4 cabinets on the screen at a time...much better layout for us...)
with the ability to create new presets/cabinets/raks/whathaveyou more easily...
then one could technically have it all...the best of all rt fx processors in one...
grand thought...
Gotta hand it to you though..
nerves of steel there friend..
trying to run exef raw without mangling it 1st into something either maemo or easy deb could understand and handle is gutsy..
