It's like you've been putting in multiple shifts putting out fires (here) on Nokia's "burning platform", with the vast majority of even the most recent (and least hurt) Maemo adopters disgusted by MS-Elop's handiwork.
As someone who incessantly extols the pleasures of "partnering" with MS (yeah, studying contemporary history is overrated... )
Could you kindly elaborate on your absolute guarantee that Nokia will bounce back!!?? Like, in what kind of disguise might that be??
Because while I can certainly see Nokia ending up with a very different form after MS-Elop's play has played itself out, I can't even at my most charitable see it as "bouncing back"!

I think there may have been an amusing US/UK communication gap here. Abil_UK has suddenly started talking about people here who don't own Nokia products. I think most people here DO own Nokia products or have owned them or have considered owning them, but...
When earlier in the thread someone said they were glad they had sold all their Nokia stock, I think one person from the UK thought he was talking about having sold his Nokia products. No! He was referring to stock as in stock market.
Well, it's 4 a.m. here in Calif, i may be wrong...

How can you say that canabal? Bill Gates would laugh at you and as for Nokia, well at least someone got sense to push them in this direction, i would if it was my company thats for sure because it has no choice but to drag them out of the pit and into salvation but yes i agree with your remarks because upto now no device manufacturer can get even close to the numbers Nokia push out, so the malgamation of these 2 has to be 100% positive.
Yes they screwed up big time with the N900 but still you got to remember here that we do own one and still need it to perform to our needs.
IF you do not own a Nokia device then why are you on this forum? (that goes to everyone on here).
