Actually, if you read the thread, I was talking about onsale.com, not Nokia.
A friend of mine just had his N800 order canceled. The store told him that Nokia was not making them any more.

bottom line it has not been discontinued
and onsale staff are just idots making up excuses for poor management...
they cant discountinue the n800 especially since it just came out(officially-according to nokia) in some countries like portugal....

Ancient when you look at the requirements to look at your typical modern website. 800 wide just doesn't cut it anymore.
Yes, considerably. I have a Win2k3 webserver and a win2k3 file/printerserver. There is no easy way to administer them with my N800.
There is no easy way to access Windows file systems with the N800. Should I continue?
You can do alot with the N800, but also lots and lots of things you can't. But as I stated, I haven't canned it (yet).
But a new IT? No way. Not even at $200.
