Did you enable the "auto save preferences" ?
It does save those in the config file:

pen_thickness=2
eraser_thickness=2
...and so on...

yes it is enabled but doesn't work here
Eg. i open a file, create some lines, than i change the pen and
eraser size, (note autosave is enabled) save the page, exit xournal.
Reopen xournal, reopen the page previous saved pen/eraser size isn't the one
i have saved....

It does work for me, even tho it does only save fine, medium and thick, forgetting about extra thick and extra fine.

Did you check directly in the config file ?
Because with the pressure active the thickness could not be noticeable...

i've set :
# default pen thickness (fine = 1, medium = 2, thick = 3)
pen_thickness=4
# default eraser thickness (fine = 1, medium = 2, thick = 3)
eraser_thickness=3

manually on the cfg files and now all is ok

Anidel also ported ImageMagick that you can download from his site.
All you have to do is type in xterm:
convert file.pdf file.jpg
and you already have what you want.

I d/l last night or early this AM, it's all a blur really, Just had insomnia so I played with my...ummm...tablet...all night.

Anyway, I am flat amazed by this app. I guess it was a Linux app already? Yes? Still, this thing is pervect for some ways I could use the tablet. My first use was doing a rough drawing of the pergola top for my deck. Gives me a great way to make some prelim drawings...THANKS...
