a. What do you mean half sized? Like the whole thing is scaled down? Make sure you have "64" selected for icon size in the settings window. If a partial icon is showing, try resizing the applet by grabbing the handle at the lower right hand corner.
b. What application are you clicking? How many times does it take to disappear?
c. Click the "Home" text at the top of the desktop screen, go to "Applet settings" and click "Personal Launcher"

How are we supposed to add/edit icons? I installed the .4 version then updated to the latest version, rebooted, clicked the icon on the desktop only to have it disappear. The icon itself is still there, and I can drag it around, but it's completely transparent and doesn't do anything when I click it. Help?

Click on the "Home" label at the top of the desktop, go to "Applet settings" and click on "Personal Launcher"

yes, it works fine now, thanks a lot.
the icon disappearing problem is a result of the icons's host panel become very small.

can anyone tell me how to.... im wanting to make icons to go along with the lcars theme.... just the same rounded rectangle drawn in MS paint with the proper label added inside... my problem is when i made the first one it was apparently too big , i do have my icon size set to 64 , which is where i want it. but when it loaded in it appeared as a square. so i went into paintshop and changed the icon size to 64pixels wide by 37 tall loaded it in and it still appeared as a square. can anyone help?

Currently PL doesn't honour aspect ratio. IF you make your icon 64x64 canvas size but make the image 64x37 it will load as a rectangle. I am going to change the code to honour aspect ratio but still make the large dimension the same as the selected size.

`/sbin/shutdown -h now`

be sure to check 'Run as root' and 'Run in terminal'

You'll probably need to set up SUDO first, though.
