looking up "short read in buffer_copy" told me that its either something with your apt-get being dirty or the file is corrupt.
all I can suggest is to redownload and try again, of course directly with app manager would be simplest.

the same 0.1.5 .deb is available :

or

This program is very nice so far. I really like the book reader. I'd love to use this for viewing images and I possibly browsing? It is very responsive with the touchscreen. Keep up the good work lcuk.

Just wanted to report a little "strange" behavior....

One of my drawings used nothing but lines, boxes and filled areas.

In the Physics mode...it shows up as only lines, but slightly jumbled with regard to endpoints. In addition, in the grafitti wall when using the scrubber to scroll up and down there is a lot of garbage "noise" during the scrolling.

After deleting this one drawing, the problems all went away.

I can confirm this behaviour in 800x600 mode (does not happen in 640x480): I started a new drawing, using only the area tool, then lines and then curves (in that order), but from the first area I started getting garbage on screen updates. Switched to 640x480 and the problem disappeared.
Nice work though

yes, the physics view was created when I only had curves available for drawing.
Since then I created the line/box/area/stamp tools but the physics view did not show them.
This has been rectified internally as I have rebuilt the physics view using the newer rendering tools.

The specific drawing was not the problem, you probably just closed and reopened liqbase and attributed it to the drawin.

there appears to be a graphical glitch on some devices when the system is run for the first time after a reboot and the screen resolution is set to 800*480.

This is explained in a little more detail on my site and is being examined.

Hi there,

I have been trying to install liqbase and have not been successful. My N800 seems to be missing libglib. How do I get a hold of it?

Thanks

that is a standard component of the maemo diablo system...
ensure your default repositories are clean and refreshed and remove non standard ones which might be causing the issue.

Hi, I just stumbled over liqbase and I think it's amazing!

After playing around with the sketches and reading about the guys requesting a ruled backgound one thought came to my mind:

Why not have simple calendar pages as backgounds for sketches ?

I'm using this type of calendar right now:

There you have one page for one week, but with the graffiti-wall you could even have one page per day.

Using these as a sketch background you could use your N8x0 just like your good old analog calendar.

I know about all these calendar apps for maemo, but I don't want to sync my appointments with my (non-exising) google-calendar, because I carry my tablet around all day. I don't need them digital/machine readable. Also handwriting is much faster than entering things with the small keyboard.

I would love to see this in a future release, because then I could finally trash my paper calendar.. (and as you might know the year is almost over so it would be the time to buy a new one..)
