Hi All,
We have made new version 2.0.5 of Digia @Web for Maemo. It will be shortly available from extras-devel.
Here is the list of changes since the previous release:
1. Saving bookmarks in SQLite database. Bookmarks from previous release are lost but they will be kept in upgrades.
2. Saving usernames and passwords that are used to access sites on the Web. Passwords can be managed using Security tab of Settings dialog. User can enable/disable passwords saving and view the actual usernames and passwords that are stored. The data is stored in encrypted format. Username and password fields are automatically filled for sites that have stored credentials.
3. One bug fixed: the tooltip text from any of main buttons doesn't go away if the button has been pressed when buttons are animating down.
We know that the Qt libraries for Maemo Diablo are not yet perfect, but they are almost fast enough for decent browsing.
If you find some problems, let us know via e-mail to support.product@digia.com.
We are planning to make @Web available also via extras and catalog in the near future.
Yours,
Tuukka Turunen
