If that's all there is to MegaClock, don't even bother installing it.

Just throw the file into your PALM/Launcher folder on your external memory card.

Thanks jow for your help. I am simple farmer just trying to get my legacy palm apps to work.
I have now got garnet vm and my apps seemed to install ok but have a sync problem: when I sync every time I get the message "your device is not associated with a user account" I have tried both adding a new user and associating with existing user, but still dont seem to be able to create an association. This means that computer performs "recovery sync" every time rather than update and also one of my programs requires to recognise palm device and refuses to sync.
Any ideas?

How to create SD Card Slots have been mentioned several times, even within this thread.

At least make an attempt to read the entire thread here.

Virtual 'external' memory card. As Addison said, it's explained already. But it means you don't actually need a physical card, just make a folder somewhere and use that.

Here is megaclock, run smoothly on N900 as silk, except some skin/plugins.

I dl the trial version here, extract on my winPC, winSCP the megaclock.prc to /media/mmc1/PALM/launcher, open gvm, go to slot1, click megaclock, here is, sitting there like a good old pal.

AnaDigi like plugin crash gvm. Mega like plugins are OK

Virtual SD card, this thread #40

I would be more than happy to try out blazer for you only if I would get a copy of blazer. It should work,

Mind to post a link for blazer, TIA,

Edit: Blazer checked for palm signiture: "...you are NOT allowed to run this app..."

what I am saying is that I have tested a few apps that use TCP/IP and there is no connection. There is also no network prefs in Garnet as there is on a physical Palm device.

Just wondering if it is not compatible with N900, not compatible with Garnet VM in general, or if I am missing something. Any ideas?

Networking worked fine on the the N8x0. I haven't tried on the N900. But Garnet VM is certainly designed to do networking via the actual network setup (whether that's via wi-fi or whatever).
