hmmm, company is selling million devices each day without any Linux support and in the same time is creating three (four ?) Linux based models. These models have opened software only, lack of some features and there is no info, that they will be added later (features, which are not maybe not too often used, but are available in all other models created during last few years). And it's enough to say for some people, that this company is very Open Source friendly.

This thread is marked with trolling, flamewar and similar tags currently. I can live with it. But please note one thing - fact, that company created hardware, doesn't mean, that we can't speak about problems. Some people call Stallman or Linus trolls and fanatics. But they don't stop and that's why we have Linux and other things. I'm maybe wrong with some opinions, but - is really everything wrong in what I have written here ? If yes, why do we have so many other threads about MMS/poor community (for example thread about lack of feedback from people visible yesterday/today) ?

Anyway, I hope only one thing only - that Nokia employees will read this and help millions of Series 40/Series 60 devices users, who want to sync their devices for example.

EDIT: ossipena is being very helpful with the greeter signature. I may not agree with everything he posts, but I try to separate that from the service of the signature itself. Granted, not everyone will. If he was outright abusive, that would be another issue.

Calm down folks. There's no need to get ultra testy... it's an online forum, about an open source OS on a phone that's just starting to ship... and this entire thread is rather laughable once you remove emotion from it.
