Things are getting better IMO with the n900. But I am not going to take the plunge just yet.

For me it does all I ask and more. Sure I have had my frustrations and hope some of these are solved with this release. But to expect that this or any future release will fundamentally change the device is just fooling yourself.
If you don't like it now you likely never will. I had to return to my N95 for two weeks whilst my N900 was being repaired. After that i wanted to burn my N95.
I like the N95 and my gf loves it as it takes great pics and vids but i was very unfortunate that as i needed a replacement for my stolen E90 and going by Nokia's history i went for the N900 as the only possible replacement with added touch screen capabilities, sadly i was confronted with a device not even capable of checking balance and top up etc only to find out in the end that Nokia had to try and get revenue coming in again and completely oversold the N900. What is bothering me so much is the fact that Nokia seems to have shelved the N900 and left us all without even an explanation or a possible firmware update ... not even a nod from them leaving everyone in the dark ... it has HUGE possibilities having open linux based software and Nokia have been very clever in getting as many people on the bandwagon as possible developing and testing what should already be what they sold it as ... a flagship mobile. ok lesson learned ... never buy a mobile without prior working knowledge , but hey this is the first of its kind and i am aggrieved that we are left in the dark like this when it appears Nokia are just about to shelve the N900.

So this goodbye thread is still active? Some N900 haters really seem to have a hard time leaving this forum, don't they?
What a long goodbye ceremony...

How do you know his brain does multi-tasks?
Don't you know he is one of those single-minded?
