Me too with my G1
I use Navigator, voice search, Shopsavyy, Shazaam and other fun apps too much to stop cold until the N900 matures with apps. My G1 is a nice reliable bridge until this happens.
N900 rocks without even considering the smartphone function, but I got mine at $422 after rebate. My opinion could be different if I paid considerably more, but the more I use the N900 for media and web function, the less I think that

If there is one thing I learned from dealing with Nokia is to never believe what they say in regards to dates.
The only thing I really wish for in the firmware update is some improvement with my reception. It seems the N900 radio is worse than that of my G1 and my battery is suffering because of it.

You got your rebate back already? I have not filed mine yet. Rumor has it that those that purchased from D3LL with the deal, just like me, are not eligible for the rebate.
-How did you file yours?
-Did you have to copy the IMEI code on the box or did you cut it. I definitely will not cut mine if that's what have to be done.
