Before you test any loading times, remember to purge the whole cache.

You may be getting location wrong via "IP" becuase it seems like T-Mo has regional APNs. Internet2.voicestream.com has me making "speedtests" somewhere in Kansas. epc.tmobile.com gets closer, but its somewhere in New Jersey...I'm in Maryland.
Thanks, Verizon DSL seems to put me in Texas. While using whatever default APN for TMobile won't work at all.

Oh well, maybe someone will make an add-on for Fennec that specifically targets the N900's GPS.

But what I'm saying is that the "Near Me" plugin, locates me down to my street and house number...it even asks permission to have access. Its the one part that actually runs quickly for the browser.

In most cases, firefox is much slower, however, there are some sites that microb doesn't work proper but works perfect on firefox.

Just tested RC1 for about 20 minutes and 3 major things jump out at me immediately.
  1. No way to search on a page
  2. No way to save images
  3. No way to open a link in a new tab

Also, I see firmware 2.2009.51-1 mentioned a few times in this thread... how do I get that?

Huh, I really don't know what's causing this then. When you turn on Near Me does it activate the GPS for you? I turn it on (when it access to share my location) and I ctrl+backspace out and look for the GPS icon and it doesn't activate.

Why not just "use it" instead of trying to confirm?

Is it not finding things "Near you"? Finds me just fine, but again, the results list is sorely lacking (only 4-5 results, though it seems like the search radius is up to 20miles ).

Well using it isn't helpful since I'm not in TX. I'm in MD like you. =P

It looks like the only browser to load XM radio's "online player" correctly, sort of, but it doesn't actually "play". It takes 4-5 minutes to load via WiFi connection on FIOS circuit.
