Oops seem to have lost my subscription to this thread. Sorry for not answering.
Anyway, to change the size of the widget, do this:
remove the widget from your desktop, open xterm and issue this command:
echo "798,420" > .comic-widget/size.cfg
That makes the widget pretty much fill the whole screen. It's the maximum size. You can put any size you want, but it won't go bigger than that or smaller than 420x200.
I uploaded a new version to devel that fixes a few broken comics and sets the start date of comics to more recent times.Unfortunately no new comics or big fixes.

I wanted to add that this has become one of my new must have widgets.

hi mece
i installed the widget, however after a few minutes use it disappeared. i have tried reinstalling it but it doesnt pop up. i can still access the menu and select comics etc but no comics show up....
any idea?

Checked the suggestions and added the 2 that were easy. Those were Questionable Content and Extra Ordinary. Didn't have time to do the difficult ones right now.
0.4.4-5 is in the builder and should appear in 30 minutes or so.
Let me know if they work.

i havent got new strips for wulffmorgenthaler since 29. of december.. when i "click" the name of the comic it opens this page

and it says the page isnt available pretty harsh
there still is new strips on another page.
