Just a quick question...
I have an old 4gb PS3 with a faulty disk drive and this would be great to play my full games on this, do you need to have the disc in the drive to perform the back up or can the backed up game be ported over via another external device?

someone can tell me if im stupid or something else cause i do everything correctly but nothing to be don im explain :
1 i take off the power of ps3 put out cable power
2 i launch in my n900 (with kernel power so modified .ko for power kernel ) the ./psfreedom-enable.sh
3 reconnect the power cable of ps3
4 quickly push the eject buttons
and at this time the fan of my ps3 come crazy and turn at the max but nothing come she power on but on screen nothing just ps3 up and cool fan turn at max .....
someone can explain me what im did wrong?????
edit: my kernel is power40wl of neowpn maybe this but i don't think so ....
