I've been having issues converting some of my videos, specifically .mkv files with Vorbis audio.
When converting with two passes, it stops about halfway through the second pass stating that there are too many audio packets in the buffer.

So I suppose until the MPlayer team finds and fixes the problem with MEncoder, this problem isn't going to go away. So for now, I'm going to have to demux the Vorbis audio, convert it to MP3 or WAV, mux the video and new audio, and convert. What a pain.

May I ask a question?
Does it support to convert RMVB->AVI?
It always show me "ERROR: Could not open required DirectShow codec drvc.so." when I tried to convert RMVB files.

I have converted many rmvb files without problems.
Are you using the mplayer/mencoder included, or you have replaced this files with a old version?
Or you can use directly mencoder (but is a little bit complicated )
