Maybe, but the app-manager was not having any problems.
Whenever the apt-get update was hanged, i opened a browser and clicked some links. This made apt-get resumed the work.

The wifi signal was pretty bad where this happened.

After my previous post it started happen again (although not as often) with all the setting to turn powersave to minimun (+1000 milis)

Any other ideas guys?

That's as may be, but surely not as much as normal debian repositories on a daily basis. Think of the 4Kbs downloads for the new firmware. I think it may be a bandwidth problem on Nokia's end.

Remember, they sold about 300k N800 units and probably half of those users are trying to do the exact same thing. They're being hammered.

Definitely after last flash with 44 version wifi signal is worst.
I have disabled powersaving for the wifi i have at work.
Increased the wlan_sleep_timeout to 1000 (maybe i should unset it and just leave the powersaving off).

Mine will quit at ramdom, on the first page or the firts click to follow a link. Telnet and SSH work fine, though even with the default settings of wlan_sleep_timeout... So in my case, I think it's more a browser problem....

got it to work! I had to edit the .bowser file, changed engiene=opera to engine =microb.
