Ah thank you all. It didn't even occur to me to check the installed applications list because I figured if I installed it by double clicking on the .deb file, it could only be removed by dpkg --purge .

Wow today is turning out to be a big noob day for me. I just saw that firefox (which I installed from the .deb file using dpkg) is also listed under the manage applications menu. Sorry for the trouble. Hopefully I will have more constructive things to add in future discussions.

Is it possible to have calendar events or current temperatur on this screen ? As I have no use for RAM/CPU/Storage info.

delete /tmp/lowpower* or reboot. You started lpsmagic as root and when starting it as user it can't write to images.

OK, but i tried with both normal user and root with the same result. But anyway it worked after resrart.

Looks and works great ; however it looks a bit pixelated around the edges. Am I the only one?
