Sorry about that, I was packaging 0.1.6 at the time for testing, and it overwrote 0.1.5 in the repo. 0.1.5 is back up

V0.1.6 is now available guys.

It features bigger and bolder text.

In case you were wondering, due to Python Syntax, I have had to include the font myself in the package, so installed size is significantly larger than before (but still really small in the general scheme of things)

Edit: Here is a new screenshot
NB: Text may be a bit different as it is on my N950 and I notice a few variations between it and my N9

This app is pretty usefull and from my point of view it needs two fixes .

1. make it autorefresh
2. add standby and talk time remaining

Autorefresh is already on the cards. Still having issues with my background daemon for some reason

As for the other info, that may be a bit harder, but I can definitely look into it

Only thing is when I replace the icon in Status Bar, I won't be able to add that, but I can always have a version of the app that remains just an app icon.

I think it's close to perfect. Imo the '%' don't need to be there or the txt should be slightly smaller.
I don't agree with point #2 it would clutter up the icon imo.
Anyway very nice work mate

e: is there anyway to customize the icon color. I tried to copy the .png but the txt is overlaying the icon when copied. It would be cool if i could change the color from time to time.

Yes you can, there is a template of it in /opt/BatteryWidget/

I am thinking about making a Settings applet for it, in which you can choose the new icon or old one as well as font size. Thoughts?

Talk/standby time becomes more important than percent when your battery is low .

Maybe if I can solve it, and create a settings applet, I will do it. For now, my main goal is to get a working replacement for the current battery indicator.
