@mikecomputing
if the camera/image quality is at the top of your list (above the OS or the sleek looks) then you should have looked at other options. you can't expect much from the N9's sensor as there's nothing really special about it other than the aspect ratio thing.
the N9 has a different selling point. had nokia given it the N8's sensor then that would be a totally different story, and a totally different and incredibly more absurd sky-high price.

Btw. I guess AirPlay is also using DLNA in the end...
Didn't abbra mention a gui based on a gtk app will most probably be used?
I can't recall it's name, it was in that "facts" thread that shallimus started.
And Re SE_Arc, I'm sure it's weaker than the N9 in many areas.
We all know there's no such thing as the "uber perfect" phone...
SGSII (& some if it's android ilk) is the only one likely to get close to that, & maybe the N9

Most applications will stop updating the GUI when in thumbnail mode. This is to save CPU cycles. A typical example would be updating a progress bar. In any case, I don't think the thumbnails are truly 'live', but instead they update periodically. I have tested video playback when in thumbnail mode, and although the video continues playing, the visible frame only changes every now and then.

Way I see it...
All these really need to be stickied (1st two merged)

NOKIA N9 Pricing Thread
N9 16/64GB: worldwide availability & pricing
N9 owners: answer questions & get help!
Top Apps for Nokia N9
How good is the N9's cellular reception compared to others?
N9/N950 Email/Mail for Exchange - Get help & give feedback here
N9 Accessories: Cases, Car Holders, Gaming, etc

And maybe these two?

Is this true that the n9 will have flash with fennec?
Nokia N9, N900, Iphone3GS Music player review and shootout

I still haven't heard boo from a Mod...
Hopefully we can get everything stickied soon & a bunch of them merged.
Does anyone know how one can apply to be a mod, or is not possible?
