Has anyone recently (let's say during the last month) experienced issues with shutdown of Pure Maps? As in https://github.com/rinigus/pure-maps/issues/31

Pure Maps startup problems, yes.
I just now had the state on XA2 SFOS 3.1.0.11 that i could not start Pure Maps from the UI icon anymore.

Ps showed no running Pure maps process so i started from shell and it worked instantly... I tried from UI many times before and only got a spinning load up tile.

It did not show the "Initializing" screen, Pure Maps started right on with the map visible.
When closing again also the UI icon started Pure Maps again, showing the "Initializing" screen briefly.

Also when shutting down the instance started from UI and then starting again from shell shows the "Initializing" screen then.

That first screen and transition to map screen was definitely missing when starting from shell while the UI start did not work.

Hope you can make any sense from that description and am happy to answer further questions.

Transport icons are not quite easily available as a set of equally designed ones. That was mainly why i picked the proposals some pages back. But i agree, more stylized black and white versions would fit better and i am searching currently.

this sounds more like a "memory access error" which I recently had to experience on XA2 when starting any native app.
From UI icon only spinning circle and nothing. In console I can read "Speicherzugriffsfehler" (wanted to try out German ). I cannot get anything started (in this case it was jolla-camera) from UI but after a few tries from console it works, tested for different native apps in different situations.
The most annoying thing is Android apps do start!

Did not yet report/search for on TJC (maybe someone has a pointer?).

But that sounded like Pure Maps specific. I have had a while ago (1 y or more) some issues like it and then reboot helped. But maybe this needs to be checked, just have to figure out how.

Did you use `harbour-pure-maps` or older way via sailfish-qml? All sounds a bit strange with the absence of spinning disks on start...

Next time I will definitely do from console and report back.

Peters remark actually is quite sound also. I can confirm to have very few occasions where camera app does not start up with same behaviour.

Yep. And -totally unrelated to Pure Maps- I also experience OOM killing native apps, including terminal!

Me, too.
But only on Jolla 1s and just occasionally.

Well... I don't know if it is exactly the same problem, but the last two times I used Pure Maps for navigation, it was not possible to start it again after closing the app. I had to reboot.
