I am not saying that Flash is open. but is also not closed, not completely.
You can create flash files without using an Adobe software.

It costs my company ZERO to use flash for our needs.

IF you hate Flash so much what are you doing in a Flash thread?

I think we can put efforts into Android 2.2 instead. Flash10 is already available for Froyo Android. Os already running but not yet furfilling our everyday use. When the phone and camera are working then I'll be happy switching to that instead. MeeGo is going to take forever to come out.

Getting p-ed off now with soon............

I completely love the N900 browser, and the Flash ability just makes it even more superior than it already is.

But most sites that require Flash 10 to view video. I know that the N900 comes ready with Flash, but it's well out of date on some sites, and who knows how long before that number grows? It's get almost inpossible to watch video online now, this being one of the reasons I paid a lot off money for the N900....

So with out saying SOON is there a date ?

xx

I just can't wait for a working version of Froyo! one question I have though is, once we have android for the n900 and google decide to upgrade to 2.3 or something would that require the devs to redo all there hard work on the port?

Forget about the flash player version 10.x for N900, Nokia is now only focus on Meego.... I just bough my N900 for 2.5 months and found lack of software and nokia support for this mobile phone.... Really pissing me off...

But if Nokia doesn't concentrate on meego, and make it significantly "better" - (random metric I know) than the competition, and soon - there will be bigger problems than no updates for the n900.

Besides the n900 is still a great device!
