hi, i am not sure if anyone have reported this or not but i found a quite annoying thing while my phone suddenly lost connection. It happened to me while i got into some flight, it kept asking for connection becoz wazapp is looking for connection. This thing didnt happen in wazaap 0.9.17 version, now i am on nightly20. Moreover, i found i got more unsent message with this version. Anyway i got this version by air update, it suddenly offered an update from the phone and found it pretty cool

It's not a bug, just an incomplete feature. What would be needed is a check if a connection is available at all before trying to initiate it. Maybe we'll see it one day but for now accept nightly as it is. It's a known behaviour and for the moment a tolerated one as loosing connection is not happening most of the time during normal use cases and the current method ensures allways online wazapp.

Maybe have a look into /opt/waxmppplugin/bin/wazapp/ui.py -> getImageFiles() on line 410 (in my version)
Thumbs are generated, if they don't exist, maybe this takes too long? I commented it out and for the last hour i had no infinite loop... i will test over the day and report.

@kevincostan i know you have issues with my nightly wazapp, but sorry, i can't release updated version untill i will not use wazapp again. i'm not using whatsapp at this moment, and i don't want to spam anybody to test wazapp features.

Seems like development has stopped for now...
Wazapp is in the same stadium like Harmattan now it has some bugs, but we know them and know how to deal with them, so we can live with it and we love it
The big advantage of Wazapp is, we can fix them ourselves and don't need to wait for Nokia
