i just check it with my order number. but still the same, nothing change.

i registered (lurking for a while, have had an n800 since 2007) just so i can post this.
i ordered 11/5 (estimated 12/10 delivery) like most people on this thread. got this email from a CSR today:

Hi Jon,



Thank You for Contacting Dell Customer Care.



Good day!!! How are you doing? I hope everything is ok. This is about order number XXXXXXXXX. It shows in our system that this order is backordered January 15, 2009. So far, I do not see any possibility that this will ship within this month. I apologize. Pls let me know if you want this cancelled and get adifferent model.

Dear Sammy,

Good day!

According to our S&P department , they have looked to see if e can source this item however no one has avail stock. As per our supplier, the Estimated ship date is on January 15, 2009.

Please advise if you are still willing to wait for the order. If I may suggest, you may consult our sales department or www.support.dell.com for the best alternative for this order.

I will be waiting for your response.

Still no change on my status. I went with trepidation to see if I had gotten the black email, but thankfully no emails from dell.

I just checked my order status from Dell, it says shipped. I will update the Dell N900 spreadsheet.

It looks like this batch of shipment is not enough for all of us just like the previous 11/22 first batch.
