I love the feel of a Thumb2 powered N900 and the fact that Fennec 17.0 comes compiled and ready.
For me this is THE internet tablet after all
I like to push it and can open up to 30 full websites in Fennec and still get each one to respond and scroll in a correct way.
Really different from previous versions and firmware combo's
When I leave the Fennec browser sometimes I will find the device auto-rebooted after a couple of hours though.
Swap will be about 330 - 360MB (on 8GB class 10 Sandisc Micro SD)
Also after closing Fennec it may be more difficult to start than a 40 year old backup diesel generator for a Japanese nuclear plant with its feet in the water.
Other than that Tumbs up! And thanks for development and effort invested.

Well, following instructions in first page - to the letter - should be enough to have everything installed as it should be. It seems, that something went wrong, in your case.
I know, that it may sounds quite complicated for someone who is new to Maemo's hacking (or just power-use) - but, remember, that, despite being 100% stable, thumb2 is still kinda experimental stuff (strange to say about thing, that is working on my main device for ages
If You haven't succeed on first time, try again, ensuring, that every step went OK. then, if it doesn't work well, ask for help *before* reflashing to vanilla - after all, verifying installed kernel would be very easy, and everyone would happily point you to uname -r and ask for output.
Unless you've decided to live without thumb2, of course. If that is the case - well, fair enough.
