Hehe... showed the N9 to several colleagues now... Outcome: They all like the physical design and find the Swipe UI very good looking and easy to use.
The two questions they all asked were: Which OS is it running and how about apps? Then I showed them the integrated account management and earned an "Well, that's cool!"

It's funny how I used to get flack about "rooting" and "jailbreaking" other platforms.. and now I'm watching the N9'ers fighting their own similar fight and the cat and mouse game with Nokia is on... meanwhile Sony, HTC, Motorola and Google are openly welcoming the hacking community by openly providing the keys to unlocking their bootloaders and rooting. Samsung even hired on the head of the CyanogenMod project and openly admitted that they LIKE the project and handed around a bunch of devices for the community to go crazy with them. Nokia... doing the opposite of caring about the customer, the community and (seemingly) themselves more and more.

disapoint, eflop, epic win!, laggy interface, n9 rox, so much win, wateriswet, who cares, whyyyyy?????? |

1) needs a back button, windows button and search button to use WP7, n9 has none of those
2) needs a qualcomm processor, n9 uses TI OMAP
3) needs a screen resolution of 800x480. n9 is 854x480
There are some other reasons, but you get the gist. Talk about WP7 is generally shunned here so, if you want a multi OS phone, better off just getting an HTC HD2.
