Yes some games do. But there's this one game my cousin has on his iPhones.. it's the kind of game you might have played back on your TI calculators where you race in narrow areas and the goal is to see how far you get before you crash. Your driving fast and you have to dodge these obstacles (in this game your just dodging a huge maze of squares).

Doesn't really work out that well in the long run with an accelerometer. But for most general purposes it seems to work.

This has been out for some time but for newer folks or those that haven't been following Maemo 5 news too closely might find some main points of what Maemo 5 is, and is not.

I'm deliberately not reviving my N800, which needs to be reflashed. And my N810 is lost in my house somewhere. I'm finding life just fine without using any Nokia products -- I have a Nokia phone and a Nokia GPS also, but I never use them.

I guess when the N900 actually comes out, I'll compare its price and features with whatever else is out there (and take into consideration that I am still stuck with my Sprint phone contract) and if buying it seems the best option, I'll buy one.

But that appears increasingly unlikely.

Someone, somewhere, posted a proposal that there be a new Internet Tablet Talk forum out there in Maemo-land.

That seemed like a pretty good idea to me, to try to preserve some of the spirit of this slowly-being-digested-by-anaconda site. Not as good an idea of a new separate ITT not associated with Maemo, but not that bad, either.

Unfortunately, I can't find that post now, and I have tried searching.

Wrong thread for this? Anyway, was this what you are referring to?

http://talk.maemo.org/showpost.php?p...&postcount=102

Hardly a "proposal," so maybe there's something else?

Tim
