Ahhhh if we new that we would have something else to whine in this thread about - no idea what the differences are.
If you flash now to the global one, your next update will be the global one and so on and so on
No idea on the update front..... last time we got it about 7 hours after the rest... this time over 24 hours... could get better and / or worse
Flashing as stated above can be a sensible option but is not in any way required

Fair enough, good to know if I go the global route via manual flashing it only needs to be done once. That does make it slightly more attractive but I think the UK firmware would need to be delayed a few more days until I can be bothered.
Really I'm just interested in the why, not the when.

Can you be more specific. Are you saying someone with a Mac initiated a video call that you received from your n900? If so, what Mac and what version of OS X were they using? And did they use iChat or Google Mail in a browser? If the latter, what browser and what version? According to Google, they're browser Talk plugin doesn't support Snow Leopard. Thanks.

Thanks, after i installed the package, the about dialog got updated.
I removed all osso games a while back. (after installing the package i got them back again).
is there a better way to remove all games? i really don't need them.
